Technology and Design Assistant

This position is for Term 3, 18 July to 23 September 2022 only, 8:30am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday.

The Technology and Design Assistant is part of the team of staff responsible for the effective teaching of Technology and Design at Daramalan. The role of the Assistant is to support the Department Coordinator and staff to ensure the safety and effectiveness of Technology and Design lessons and the smooth operation of the department, in the Technology and Design rooms.

Successful applicants must have a current ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card.

Technology and Design Teacher Years 7 – 12

On-going from 18 July 2022 (alternative start date can be negotiated)  1.0FTE

Ability to teacher Metal Technology an advantage

Applicants must have current registration with ACTTQI and a valid WWVP card

Graduate, early career and experienced teachers are invited to apply. The College would also be willing to consider applicants who are within their last semester of study for a relevant teaching degree.

Casual Relief Teaching

The College has a register of relief teachers who cover classes for those on leave or attending Professional Learning etc. If you would like to be considered for relief work please send your resume in the first instance to the Deputy Principal at James.Keeley@Daramalan.act.edu.au

Teachers must be registered with ACT TQI, hold a current ACT Working With Vulnerable People Card.


Casual Support Staff

From time to time, the College has non-teaching staff absent from normal duties because of illness and various other commitments.
