In a great honour for both the school and his family, Year 12 student Angus Thompson has been invited to the 25thNational Schools Constitutional Convention in late March.

Angus, who is Daramalan’s Social Justice Captain will be amongst 120 other delegates at this three-day event being held in Canberra at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House.

The Conference is designed to provide students an opportunity to become better informed about Australia’s Constitution with a specific emphasis on topics such as how the Federation handles issues such as the state/federal mix of water security.

Well done Angus and we couldn’t think of a worthier Daramalan recipient.
