There’s a Science to Dara talent

Written by on the

In the third week of May, two Daramalan Science teams participated in the annual Titration Stakes Competition, held at the ANU Chemistry department.

Daramalan are excited to announce that one of our teams was successful in being selected for the Finals. We have not been informed of their ranking as yet, but our students will now compete with teams from all over Australia in the more difficult and challenging Australian National Chemical Analysis Competition

With 29 teams from the the ACT taking part in this preliminary round, in a very competitive setting, this is a an excellent effort and a wonderful achievement. Only the top 10 teams are selected.

Congratulations to students Hayley Groening, Grace Ross andAlexandra Van Gageldonk for their success and we wish them well in the Finals.  It was great to see them so excited and happy.

Although the second team did not go on to the Finals, they all agreed it was an excellent  and enjoyable experience for all of them. This team comprised  Michael Bui, Joseph Wright and Joseph Baxter.

Congratulations to everyone involved.
