Daramalan students win Bond Uni Comp

Written by on the

Daramalan College students recently won the Canberra region round of the Bond University Mooting Competition, and will be heading off to the Gold Coast in August to compete in the final.
Both speakers in the competition, students Jack Durr and William Bear, received Advocacy Merit awards which is an outstanding achievement given only three students overall received an award this year.

[Mooting is the oral presentation of a legal issue or problem against an opposing counsel and before a judge. It is perhaps the closest experience that a student can have whilst at school or university to appearing in court.]
